VettedAd ("we", "us", "our") is a UK limited company (company number [TBC], registered office [TBC]). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website at www.vettedad.com and our platform at app.vettedad.com (the "Service").

1. Who This Applies To
- Admin users: businesses and agencies who connect Google Ads accounts and use the platform
- Landing page visitors: people who view or submit a form on a landing page generated by the Service
We only collect information about our clients and the leads their landing pages capture. We do not collect data about the public at large.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email, business name, password (hashed).
Google Ads data: via OAuth, we access campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, spend, click, and conversion data for accounts you connect. This is used solely to provide the Service (see Section 4).
Website/business content: URLs and business details you submit for keyword research and landing page generation.
Lead data: name, email, phone, and message submitted through landing page forms you generate.
Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, IP address, browser/device type, for security, rate limiting, and basic analytics.
We do not collect sensitive personal data beyond what's necessary to provide the Service.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy: Limited Use Disclosure
VettedAd's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google Ads data to provide and improve the features you request (keyword research, optimization, reporting, campaign management).
- We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (for example our AI provider, for the specific request you make) or as required by law.
- We do not use Google Ads data for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not allow humans to read this data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with the law, or for internal operations.
- We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalised or non-personalised AI/ML models.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide the Service: keyword research, ad group building, ad copy and landing page generation, campaign push, optimization, and audit
- Power AI-assisted features via our AI provider (Anthropic). See Section 6.
- Route landing page leads to the relevant business account
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and spam
- Communicate with you about your account or the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information.
5. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the Service you signed up for
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, product improvement
- Consent: landing page lead forms, marketing emails
- Legal obligation: where required by law
6. AI Processing
AI-assisted features (keyword curation, ad copy, landing page copy, account insights) are powered by Anthropic's Claude models. Data sent is limited to what's needed for the specific request. This data is not used to train generalised AI models. Google Ads data specifically is handled per Section 3 above.
7. How We Share Information
- Google: via the Google Ads API, to read and (with your confirmation, or under disclosed autonomous rules) modify your connected accounts
- Anthropic: to power AI features, per Section 6
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, storage, and email delivery providers acting as data processors on our behalf
- Law enforcement or regulators: where legally required
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Each business account's data is isolated from other tenants on the platform.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, dispute-resolution, and accounting purposes. Lead data is retained per your account settings. You can request deletion at any time. Contact hello@vettedad.com.
9. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Contact hello@vettedad.com to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
10. International Transfers
Some service providers (including Google and Anthropic) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS), hashed passwords, tenant-level data isolation, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. This marketing site also sets a first-touch attribution cookie to remember a visitor ID and any UTM or gclid parameters present on first landing. Update this section if/when analytics or marketing cookies are added. A cookie banner and consent mechanism will be required at that point.
13. Marketing Communications
If you opt in to product updates or marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or by contacting hello@vettedad.com. Transactional emails about your account cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
14. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email.
